Waconia, MN—SUPERVALU surprised Minnesota D.A.R.E. at their Annual Golf Scramble in Waconia with a new D.A.R.E. Logo Tractor Trailer. This trailer is now the third D.A.R.E. logo trailer in the SUPERVALU fleet. SUPERVALU also purchased a new chromed-out tractor to pull the trailer when it is going out for show.

SUPERVALU has been the largest corporate donor of the Minnesota D.A.R.E. program for over 20 years; sponsoring a large number of D.A.R.E. events, statewide, annually. The D.A.R.E. trailers are just one way they support the program in the local communities. These trailers can be requested by SUPERVALU stores to deliver their product and to be on display at special events.

Approximately 250, specially-trained, D.A.R.E. law enforcement officers are instructing over 70,000 students annually in the state of Minnesota. The D.A.R.E. logo is a symbol of the commitment these students made during their D.A.R.E. program to maintain a healthy lifestyle. SUPERVALU joins Minnesota D.A.R.E. in reminding students of this pledge.

Minnesota D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) is a prevention and education program that advocates and educates for healthy and safe children. D.A.R.E. serves young people and their families teaching the skills to make positive decisions, provides education on safe and healthy lifestyles and gives the tools to enable them to resist engaging in negative and violent behaviors.
