Martin Luther King wrote, in a 1956 sermon in Montgomery, Alabama, that \u201clove is the most durable power in the world.\u201d\u00a0 He believed in \u201calways avoiding violence.\u201d\u00a0 \u201cIf you succumb to the temptation of using violence in your struggle, unborn generations will be the recipients of a long and desolate night of bitterness, and your chief legacy to the future will be an endless reign of meaningless chaos.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 He advocated for \u201cusing only the weapon of love.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

In today\u2019s world, we are constantly bombarded with hateful and angry comments; criticism and judgment.\u00a0 They are being spread in all forms of media and personal conversations. \u00a0What is legacy we are leaving our children?\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

If we want peace, we need to be peaceful.\u00a0 If we want love, we need to be loving.\u00a0 If we want change, we need to be the change.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

As Mahtma Gandhi said, \u201cYou must be the change you wish to see in the world.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
