Friday, February 26, 2010, the Hasting Police Department will be displaying their new D.A.R.E. vehicle at the World of Wheels show in St. Paul, MN. This D.A.R.E. vehicle is representative of new partnership bringing together the Hastings area marketplace, schools, civic agencies, and churches to help families.  This vehicle is designed to capture the attention of the young people D.A.R.E. is reaching.  D.A.R.E. is a symbol to students about a commitment they have made to resist the use of drugs and violence.  Along with the vehicle, officers will pass out information to the public at this event.
