2012 Poster Contest – Healthy Alternatives

(Posters were on display at the Mall of America–Two of the winning students with BCA Superintendent Wade Setter)

Minnesota D.A.R.E. chose the theme for this year’s Poster Contest and 2012 campaign as “Healthy Alternatives.” The D.A.R.E. program covers many topics encouraging children and families to be healthy, safe, and drug-free. Students were asked to develop a poster representing their healthy lifestyle. The Minnesota Wild sponsored this year’s contest and wanted to remind students that to be a great player and achieve your goals in life, you need to make “healthy choices.” Students were asked, “What did you learn from D.A.R.E. that will help you reach the goal of a healthy, safe, and drug-free life?”
