This is Minnesota D.A.R.E. Inc’s 23rd year of advocating and educating for safe and healthy children. We thank you for helping us reach millions of students over the years. You can help out, again, this year by attending an event, sponsoring an event, and/or making a cash contribution or in-kind donation.
This year’s campaign is:
“DARE to Express Yourself”
We will be talking to our Minnesota students about healthy and safe ways they can express ourselves.
To kick off this year’s campaign, Minnesota D.A.R.E., Inc.’s Board of Directors will be hosting the DARE to Love – Sweetheart Ball on February 8, 2014. We want to show our children that we care about them by coming out and supporting their programming.
This year, we will continue to expand our programming to address current health and safety issues that are impacting our Minnesota young people. Tough issues like school violence & safety; bullying and cyberbullying; Internet Safety; mental health issues; and drug, tobacco, and alcohol abuse continue to top our agenda. We have to do what it takes to keep our children safe!
We need parents, educators, communities, foundations, businesses, and companies to join together for the sake of our children. They deserve the opportunity to feel safe and loved.
